He has even appeared at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C., the exact location where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.
Overcoming Memory Loss
In 1982, Ralph Lincoln underwent surgery for a brain tumor. The medical procedure resulted in significant memory loss regarding his own personal history. To keep track of his daily life and recent experiences, he now writes everything down in a journal. Despite his personal memory challenges, he retains extensive factual knowledge about his famous ancestor and continues to share that historical information with the public.
